Edward van Gils, aka "Edje" is the most famous street football player in the world. Below is some info regarding his street soccer career:

Has his own specialty: the Akka. Edward mastered the Akka in all it's facets. Edward van Gils is also responsible for many street football tricks that are used today.

* Sponsored by Nike and Electronic Arts

* Did the Nike commercials called soccer tape which were for ESPN.

* Did Nike Panna Knock Out. Commercials ( Panna K.O.)

* Competed in Panna K.O. And helped Nike to develop the game and organize the tournaments. We toured Lisbon, Madrid, Barcelona, London and Munich to do demonstrations for Panna K.O.

* While doing the demonstrations in London he was asked for a new video game by EA Sports it is called Fifa street. This is a game about street football with a lot of skills and when they saw him, they had to have me for the motion capture.

* He also did the motion capture for Fifa Street II & III. He also got his own character in the games.

* He did commercials for Coca Cola, Amstel Beer, Electronic Arts and Nike with famous players like Ronaldinho and Ruud van Nistelrooy.

* He got a leading role in a short street soccer movie called ‘’League of Legends’’. It stars professional players from the Dutch national Team like Nigel de Jong, Johnny Heitinga and Edgar Davids.

* He won the Largest Street Football tournament in Holland for three times in a row and twice he got picked out to be the best player.
